13-16 6.7 Cummins 48RE Transmission Lines Swap Kit

This is Our Sweet New Quick Connect Transmission Line kit for a 68rfe truck to do 48re swap setup we designed. This is a 100% direct replacement. No cutting, No splicing. No compression fittings. These are our Quick Connect fittings on the 48re Transmission side and then they get our custom threaded and then barbed fitting go into the 68rfe “Thermal Bypass block” We do not recommend running the factory bypass block that is prone to sticking closed. That is one of the first things people typically upgrade on the 68rfe transmission. So if you are to the point of a 48re swap you most likely already have the upgraded thermal bypass block. Our fittings thread directly into the bypass block and the rubber line goes onto it. The Transmission cooler is NOT directional. You can run either line in top or bottom to whatever fits the nicest. Both lines are held together with billet line holders to keep them clean and nicely placed and they wrap around the back of the transmission pan and easy clean fit up against the transmission onto our quick connect fittings supplied that go into the transmission. We use a internal braided 300psi oil resistant line and fittings are internally Oringed to keep a nice leak proof quick connect system. This is a complete transmission line swap kit everything needed for when swapping a 48re into your 13-18 Ram.

They are also going to be optioned with our Billet Line Plugs to plug off the lines to the cooler so it doesn’t drain back onto the floor while installing or removing the transmission. For if you were to have a transmission failure or needed to swap torque converters or such. They are billet plugs that go into the quick connect end on the transmission line and will plug off the lines so they dont drain back onto the ground while the transmission is out of the truck.
