1989-1993 5.9 Cummins 4″ Stainless Steel Cold Air Intake System

1989 to 1993 5.9 Cummins 4″ Stainless Steel Tig Welded Cold Air Intake System. This is a direct drop in replacement for any HX35, S300, Or any turbocharger using a 4″ intake cover. These are specifically designed to be used for stock location (manifold flipped down, LOW MOUNT) no modification required, Direct Bolt on. These intakes are very nice looking and all Stainless Steel so they will out last the life of the truck and never rust. They are made of Heavy Wall .065 wall 304 Stainless Mandrel Bent Tubing that is polished inside and out! Includes Boots and Clamps & hardware needed for install!

We build this Intake 2 ways.

The First way is to Use Your Factory Airbox and any factory drop in style filter. The Factory air box is sealed up and has a pretty large filter. They also factory have cold air intake duct that goes under the head light/grill that catches forced cold air. So not a bad factory option/setup. Also if you dont want to hear a lot of turbo intake noise/whistle inside the cab this is a better way to go. This Kit will come with the intake tube and 4ply intake couplers and the clamps needed for install.

The Second way is to get rid of your factory airbox and use our 304 Stainless Steel Intake pipe and use our supplied Hi Flow Washable S&B cone style air filter. This option you will Hear More Turbo Whistle and Intake Noise. Performance Wise either style should be about the same.

When we have more time we will dyno it stock, to stock airbox with our intake pipe and then remove airbox and install the S&B filter and see which results in the best dyno results.
