  • Custom Quick Spool: Features our exclusive 63.5mm 7-blade billet compressor wheel for rapid spool-up, and a custom 73mm 9-blade G42 style turbine wheel, this turbocharger is optimized for performance and efficiency, ensuring a stock-like spool-up ideal for towing and everyday driving. designed to support the power needs of lightly modified trucks, particularly those used for towing heavy loads.
  • Advanced Cooling and Efficiency: Incorporates a 360 thrust bearing and step gap total seal rings, ensuring cooler, cleaner operation and enhanced power output, while addressing common VGT issues.

  • VGT Setup Elimination: Designed to remove the entire VGT turbo setup, enhancing reliability by eliminating common VGT issues. Note that this modification results in the loss of the factory exhaust brake functionality, but aftermarket solutions can be integrated if desired.
  • Tuning Flexibility: Compatible with existing tunes, with some vehicles not requiring a retune. We recommend checking with your tuning provider for compatibility with non-VGT turbochargers. Note: Tater Built Turbochargers does not provide tuning services.
  • Easy Installation: Comes with all necessary gaskets, hardware, and coolant plugs for a hassle-free installation. A core return label is included in every box for convenience.
  • Warranty and Core Charge: Includes a 1-year warranty and a $200 core charge, which is refundable upon return of a complete VGT core turbo, a FREE core return label will be provide with this purchase and in box with turbocharger.
