With performance in mind, Tater Built Turbochargers understands its turbochargers will inherently be pushed to the point of failure therefore our customers need to hold them self accountable for excessive abuse.

The possibility exists that materials could include inaccuracies or errors. The possibility also exist that unauthorized additions, deletions, and alterations could be made by third parties to the materials. With that said, Tater Built Turbochargers strives to ensure the upmost integrity and accuracy of its server materials. Before relying on any representation made check with the advertiser of the targeted product to ensure that the information you are reliant upon is correct.
All warranties offered are only applicable to the original purchaser of the product. Any offered and applicable warranties are void once product changes ownership or product is disassembled/tampered with. Offered and applicable warranties cover defects in parts and workmanship. Warranties do not cover events such as installation error, lack of maintenance, abuse, contamination, lack of using tools (ie. boost gauges) to monitor turbocharger performance, etc. Tater Built Turbochargers will not be liable for towing charges, rental car/trucks, travel/lodging expenses, shop labor, loss of income or any other claims for special, indirect, or consequential damages and losses that may arise under provisions of this warranty.
Turbochargers carry a ONE YEAR, unlimited miles non-transferable, limited parts only replacement. Any turbocharger warranty shall not apply in the condition that it is improperly stored, used in misapplication, used in improper conditions, accidents, or neglect. Damage due to plugged/undersized oil feed and drain lines, thrust bearing/ bushings due to turbo speed/improper turbo load, insufficient/improper oil supply and foreign debris. However, in the event of failure in these conditions, Tater Built Turbochargers will inspect and replace hard parts as needed and such cost will be the responsibility of the customer.
All warranties must be sent to Tater Built Turbochargers for warranty within the one year of receipt. Tater Built Turbochargers is not responsible for any shipping/delivery charges incurred in the event of a warranty claim unless negotiated with Tater Built Turbochargers prior to shipping warranty turbocharger. Tater Built Turbochargers will perform a failure analysis to determine the root of failure. If it is determined to be our workmanship or integrity of material used upon original build the turbocharger will be repaired or provided with a replacement in the circumstance that it is irreparable. Any returned turbocharger/components that are on the premises after 30 business days of trying to unsuccessfully contact the purchaser will be considered forfeited.
All order cancellations and NON installed/ Non ran returns are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. (credit card processing companies charge fees for processing of the orders, and also separate fees for processing refunds – so this fee is non-negotiable)
Used or second hand products cannot be returned/refunded. There is no warranty on second hand products. They can be repaired as needed and such cost will be the responsibility of the customer.
ALL competition RACING or SLED PULLING Turbochargers ONLY come with a manufacturer craftsmanship warranty only. Once installed and ran you own it. NO refunds. NO warranty time line period. COMPETITION Turbochargers can be sent back to be repaired at customers expense. These are competition products and you are buying them and understanding you are buying it to abuse it during competition. NO EXCEPTIONS
Changed your mind on your purchase?
Please be aware that some products have different return time limits and exceptions when you change your mind. We do not accept change of mind returns on: welded down pipes, swap kits, twin kits. as, these items are customized specifically for your order only.
We’d like you to be happy with everything you purchase from Tater built Turbochargers. Should you change your mind about your purchase, please return the product with your proof of original purchase within 30 days from the day you receive the goods (the cancellation period) and we’ll happily offer a refund with the subject of the 15% refund/cancellation fee.
Tater built Turbochargers reserves the right to void all warranties in the event of libel, slander, and infringement. Including but not limited to social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc. Respect us and we will respect you and do all we can to help and keep our customers on the road and happy.
